We are focused on revitalizing Berkeley County and surrounding neighborhood residents who are striving to get themselves in a better position to provide for themselves and their families. Our main goal of this organization is to change lives and make a difference in and around the Berkeley County Strawberry and surrounding communities. We want to help rebuild the communities by rebuilding the character, mindset, and skill sets on individuals of the communities. If we cannot provide the service or assistance, we have put together an exhaustive list of resources to get the individual to someone who can.
UFM has connected with Triumph Church House Ministries of North Charleston to help distribute food items to all who come out to enjoy this community 'Reach-Out' event, weekly.
UFM provides biblical studies and in-mate rehabilitation services to help them reconnect with their community and become more productive individuals. These services are designed to motivate and promote good behavior, rebuild moral character, and help inmates develop a good strategy for re-engaging with the local populace.
Our focus is to deal with the "whole man", meaning that even though our spiritual discipline is deeply rooted in Christ Jesus, we understand that some people have other beliefs. Nevertheless, we will strive to help strengthen the areas that we are allowed.
We are currently working with the following facilities:
1. Allendale Correctional Institution
Location: 1057 Revolutionary Trail, Fairfax, SC 29827
2. Macdougall Correctional Institution
Location: 1516 Old Gilliard Rd, Ridgeville, SC 29472
Through In-Prison visitations, the Internet, Radio, and Television Broadcasts, UFM will strive to administer to the Lord in this way as He clearly mentioned in the scriptures.
